Batch Validations
File based bulk validations for large data processing
Introduction
File-based validations are particularly effective in situations where bulk validations must be done on a daily basis or where there is a large backlog of KYC validations to be completed. Attestr Dashboard makes file-based validations available and don't require any technical knowledge or API integration.
Only registered Attestr customers can use this feature. See (Link Removed)
Process
- Login to Attestr Dashboard.
- Select BatchX from left navigation menu.
- Click New Job button.
- Select a service from the drop down shown on the next page. Download the excel file template to be filled for the desired service type.
- Fill the template with required data, choose appropriate client app and web hook options and attach the file before submitting. See Register App and Webhooks
- On submission, if the data is syntactically correct, you will redirected to the batch details page, where all the jobs are listed, one per row from the excel file.
- If web hooks are enabled, you will be notified on completion for each job entry.
Constraints
- Batch validations are available on request and not provisioned by default in both old and new customer accounts. To request for enabling, log a support ticket.
- Batch requests are chargeable.
- A maximum limit of 500 rows per file is applicable.
- There is no lower limit. The file must have at least one entry to be verified.
- There are limits enforced on the number of batch jobs that can be initiated per second and per day. By default, you can run up to 10 batch jobs per day. If you need to run more jobs, log a support ticket with appropriate business justification.
Data Export
Batch details page provides an option for the verified data to be exported in the form of an excel sheet. Use the 'Export To Excel' button available for this purpose.
Time Involved
Batch turn around time (TAT) i.e. the total time taken to process all the requests in a batch, is driven by the following factors -
- Total load on our servers. Real time API verification are given more priority when compared to batch jobs.
- Total jobs queued in our data processing queues. Our algorithms make best effort to ensure a fair distribution of resources across all customers.
- Rate limits enforced by any of our partner banks, gateways or other third party integrations.
- Other factors such as queue latency, service availability etc.
Considering the above factors, the time to process all jobs in a batch is not guaranteed. However, there is a retry mechanism in place to retry failed operations up to 3 times before rejecting it.
